The Children’s Aid Society is called upon to remove children from harm quickly, and sometimes in extremely difficult circumstances. The children’s belongings are obtained as rapidly as possible, and often the only available “luggage” used to be a garbage bag.

To address this troubling issue, the Foundation initiated the “Move With Dignity Project”. With money generously donated, we now have a quantity of canvas and nylon duffle bags for a child’s belongings manufactured for us in a community sheltered workshop. We hope to be able to stock them with a personal hygiene kit, a stuffed animal or another toy, activity books and crayons.
